東南アジア版の発表で自動翻訳ツールがいらなくなったかも？【海外の反応】

I just saw the SEA announcement published by PlayPark which will include EN subs.
So this might have been a waste of my time!
There are some arguments to be made that Playpark is a shitty publisher, but it’s probably still better than using my overlay. I still had fun making this though, i’ll release it as a generalized translator for all games if anyone’s interested.

I definitely love to see this since I could probably use it for a couple of visual novels 😉

I guess it’s both bad and a good thing that there’s a Southeast Asia announcement with the full English translation

But yeah sucks that you put in so much effort in it might not be completely necessary

But at the same time I guess we should be celebrating that we do have an English version that is technically not delayed hopefully?

It’s definitely good news it means people can have fun playing the game with a clean integrated translation! That’s obviously better than forcing people to use an overlay

But it’ll still be there for anybody that cares about it, perhaps some people will want to play the JP release for some reason anyway (because it’s self published etc)

Being annoyed because of the wasted effort is just sunk cost fallacy, so at least I’ll make this an open source system so people can use it for their own games like your visual novels

lots of them are japanese only (even without machine translations), so release somewhere (even google drive or something…) would be appreciated 🙂

from the wording of the SEA server announcement, it suggests that there are still upcoming beta tests specifically for SEA and details of official release schedule will be released later, so I doubt they will be in line with JP KR CN launch, so your work is still very much valued!

It doesn’t contain everything from the main campaign, but I think it already contains an significant part of the main campaign from what I can see. It also has all the characters, items, kibos, every description there too.
